Wine Women & Words Lesbian Line presents ‘Wine Women & Words’ celebrating Belfast Pride 2008 Thursday 7th August 2008 @ Black Box 18-22 Hill Street, Cathedral Quarter, Belfast 8.00 pm Door: £4 on the door - Women Only Event All women welcome http://www.blackboxbelfast.com/ Come along and enjoy the craic! Contact Lesbian Line for more details on Wine Women & Words Sunday Scene Re-established in response to demand for a women only space, the Sunday Scene Drop-In is an opportunity to meet others in a relaxed social context. 3rd Sunday of each month: 3 - 6pm Beginning April 2008 Cara Friend, Cathedral Buildings 64 Donegall Street Belfast The Line organises various events such as quizzes, games, etc. during the afternoon. We also run activities outside the Drop-In. These have included discos, barbecues, sponsored walks, pub quizzes, film nights, theatre and cinema trips. If you would like to get involved and/or help with running events, get in touch with the Line or come along to the Sunday Scene Drop-In on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Literary Lesbians Emma Donoghue's work has been discussed in the past. LITERARY LESBIANS IS AN INFORMAL GROUP WHO MEET TO DISCUSS FEMINIST AND LESBIAN LITERATURE. 1st Sunday of each month: 3 - 5pm Cara Friend, Cathedral Buildings 64 Donegall Street Belfast The format has been used for a variety of creative writing modules and is at present running a class with Brenda Murphy (playwright & poet).
