Being a lesbian means different things to us all. We are a diverse and wonderful group of women who have fabulous stories to tell. We are grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends. We are employed, unemployed, students, teachers, police officers, engineers, social workers, ministers, politicians, solicitors, accountants - whoever we want to be!

Lesbian Line needs your help - if you have any experiences or ideas you'd like to share as we build up a collection of useful resources, please contact us. The most useful resource we have is YOU. All you need to do is pick up your mobile and call us. If you have ideas, tell us and we can get together and use them.

We hope the resources in this section will cover such areas as: 1. Coming out - 2. Finding friends - 3. Being comfortable in your own skin

A lot of the organisations exist on a shoestring and are run entirely by volunteers.
